Xbox One Players Get Battlefront, UFC 2 for Free with EA Access

Xbox One Players Get EA Access

For Playstation 4 players, it might seem unfamiliar but there is an EA Access feature for Xbox One gamers who get to play free games every month as part of the subscription.

The concept is simple and straight forward. When you sign up for Electronic Arts Access, you get free games every month and as long as the subscription is active, players are allowed to enjoy the title. It could be a single player game like Tomb Raider, multiplayer titles including Titanfall and Battlefield series among others.

Xbox One Players Get Battlefront

This month, EA Access comes up with an amazing game worth your time. The subscription now allows free access to Star Wars Battlefront and there’s also UFC 2. A lot of new games are heading to the platform including six different PopCap games including Feeding Frenzy 2, Zuma, Bejeweled 3, Heavy Weapon among others. The subscribers will also receive access to Battlefront, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst and UFC 2 but there is no specific date for the release.

The company will be rolling it out later this year. With just three months to go, the wait time may not be more than this. It was first leaked through a NeoGAF forum and EA didn’t comment on this. Once the news became official, the company announced it on their blog and also confirmed the same. However, they are delaying the release date for now because multiple EA titles like Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 are heading to Xbox One console now.

Releasing Star Wars Battlefront, a popular multiplayer title for free on EA Access might indirectly affect sales of these two different AAA multiplayer titles that are about to be out. Instead, they might go for a date in the month of November or December to ensure these free games are rolled out at the right time giving value to their customers.
