Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro’s design has been revealed.
Earlier today, the company released a poster to confirm that it will be announcing the Xiaomi 12 lineup on December 28 in China. Now, it has released a new poster to confirm the front design of the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro handsets. Reports have revealed that the lineup will also include a third model called the Xiaomi 12X.
Xiaomi revealed that the Xiaomi 12 will be a small-sized high-end flagship, whereas the Pro model will be an all-around high-end flagship phone. Past reports have claimed that the Xiaomi 12 series will have a curved edge display, but the poster released by the brand shows that the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro will be gracing a flat display.
Both models are said to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform. It is known through the 3C certification of both models that the former may come with support for 67W fast charging, while the latter will come with faster 120W charging.
The Xiaomi 12X is likely to sport the same design as the 12 and 12 Pro handsets. It is also expected to arrive with support for 67W charging. Reports have claimed that it could be equipped with the Snapdragon 870 chipset.
All three models are said to be equipped with 120Hz OLED panels. The Xiaomi 12 being smaller in size may house a 6.2-inch display and the 12X is also likely to feature the same screen. Probably, the Xiaomi 12 Pro may come equipped with a larger 6.6-inch display. It is speculated that the Chinese manufacturer may also unleash a 12 Pro variant featuring an under-display camera. The Xiaomi 12 trio will come preinstalled with Android 12 OS and MIUI 13.
