Recent reports suggest that Xiaomi could bring two compact flagship phones in the Xiaomi 12 series – Xiaomi 12X and Xiaomi 12X Pro. While Xiaomi has not revealed anything about the devices, rumor mill believes that the Xiaomi 12X could pack Snapdragon 870 SoC. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12X Pro could be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, a successor to the Snapdragon 888+ chipset.

According to a Xiaomi tipster @Xiaomiui, the Redmi K50 Pro carries the code-name “Ingres” and has the model number “L11”. He claims that the same device will launch with different monikers for the different markets, which the company has been doing for years. For India, the Redmi K50 Pro will launch as Xiaomi 12X, while the global market will receive it as Poco F4 Pro. The Xiaomi 12X reportedly carries model number 22011211I, which has now appeared on the IMEI database. This hints that the device has moved a step closer to the launch. As always, the IMEI listing has failed to reveal any key specifications.

While Xiaomi is busy with the launch of its next flagship series of smartphones, its sub-brand, Redmi, is also gearing up to launch another high-performance gaming phone. According to a reliable Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is incoming with a flat display housing a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The phone is tipped to have “lift-type” solid shoulder buttons on the right. The tipster claims that the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition focuses on a high-performance gaming experience.

Redmi K50 Gaming Edition phone reportedly carries model number 21121210C, which was recently spotted on China’s CMIIT certification website. According to recent reports, the company could launch the Redmi K50 series as early as February 2022. The Redmi K50 Gaming is said to feature Dimensity 9000 SoC, 64MP triple/quad cameras or 108MP triple/quad cameras.
