The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has officially announced the launch date of its upcoming Xiaomi 14T series of smartphones.
The manufacturer took to its official handle on the popular X platform to announce the 26th of September this year as the launch date for its Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro. Both smartphones have cleared all needed certifications like UAE’s TDRA, Singapore’s IMDA, and SDPPI.
The Xiaomi 14T series will be offered by the manufacturer as mid-range smartphones with excellent camera experiences. Both handsets in this series will depict color science as well as co-engineered Leica lenses, thereby confirming the continuing partnership between Xiaomi and Leica.

Moreover, the manufacturer’s press release also highlights cinematic artistry and humanistic photography referencing the new color profiles that Leica has to offer for the handsets.
Leaked Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro Renders
Renders of the 14T and 14T Pro have been leaked by Arsene Lupin on the X platform. Along with the images of the two smartphones, he has also shared details about their colors, RAM, storage, and price.

The X post mentions that the two smartphones will come with 12 GB RAM. While the 14T will have 256 GB storage, the 14T Pro will be equipped with 512 GB storage. The standard model will have a curved back panel whilst the Pro variant will have a straight design. Both models will incorporate a flat-edged chassis.
The leaked renders reveal the Leica branding highlighted on the camera module with a rectangular design. The two handsets will have a triple camera setup and support a dedicated flash.

Both handsets will come in Titan Blue, Titan Gray, and Titan Black color options. The 14T Pro will support an extra color choice of Lemon Green. While the 14T will be priced at €699, the 14T Pro will bear a price tag of €899.
Other Specifications
Based on past reports, the 14T is slated to have a 1.5K 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 4000 nits brightness, 2712 x 1220 resolution, and 144 Hz refresh rate. While the 14T is likely to house a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset, the 14T Pro will come with a Dimensity 9300+ SoC.
Both smartphones will have an IP 68 protection rating, a 50 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide sensor, a 50 MP telephoto lens, and a 32 MP selfie camera. They will also come with Android 14 preinstalled. The Xiaomi 14T Pro will be powered by a 5000 mAh battery.
