Xiaomi CIVI 2 (2209129SC), Redmi 11A (22095RA98C) 3C Certified, Fast Charging Speeds Revealed

The alleged Xiaomi CIVI 2 with a 2209129SC model number has been approved by the 3C authority of China. This device is expected to succeed the Xiaomi CIVI smartphone from last year.

Earlier this year, the company launched the CIVI 1S with an improved processor. The upcoming CIVI 2 is expected to arrive with several improvements over its predecessor.

The 3C certification of the Xiaomi 2209129SC shows that it is a 5G-enabled device. It further reveals that it may ship an MDY-12-EF charger, which offers maximum charging speeds of 67W. To recall, the original CIVI also supports 67W rapid charging.

Previous reports have revealed that the device will continue to sport a curved AMOLED display with a punch-hole design like the CIVI and CIVI 1S handsets. It will support a 120Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution, and Dolby Vision. The display panel will be embedded with a fingerprint scanner. Its exact screen size is yet to be confirmed.

The device is likely to come equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. It is expected to arrive with improved front and rear cameras. At present, there is no information on the battery capacity of the device.

The original CIVI was unveiled in September. Hence, it appears that the CIVI 2 may debut around the same time in the Chinese market. Like the existing CIVI models, the CIVI 2 may not be released in the global market.

Alleged Redmi 11A 3C certified

As can be seen in the above screenshot, another device with 22095RA98C has also been approved by the 3C authority. It appears to be an entry-level 5G phone. The reason behind it has been spotted with a 10W charger at the 3C certification. It could be the upcoming Redmi 11A handset.
