PUBG: Battlegrounds and Assassin’s Creed have joined hands for a collaboration event that will last for a brief period of time.

This event will introduce new parachutes, costumes, gun charms, emotes and several other elements. The 19.1 update will bring in a new vehicle and a weapon to PUBG: Battlegrounds.

Though PUBG: Battlegrounds started out as a mod designed for ARMA 2 in the year 2013, it didn’t take long for its popularity to grow by leaps and bounds. It ended up serving as an inspiration for several popular battle royale games including Call of Duty: Warzone, Fortnite and Apex Legends.

When it comes to live-service games, fans expect something new to be offered to them at every juncture. PUBG, as a live service game, has made it a point to bring in new content to make the gameplay more dynamic. It has also regularly developed patches to ensure that bugs are fixed and new features are incorporated.

Update 19.1 shall also introduce Assassin’s Creed’s Abstergo Corporation by integrating it into the Haven map. The company will exercise control over one of the buildings on the map. Players, who are very observant, should be able to trace an Animus machine hidden somewhere in the area. The new cosmetic rewards, which revolve around the theme of Assassin’s Creed, can be earned comfortably while playing the game. Some of the prominent rewards that you can win include parachute skin, costumes, and bag skins.

Through this update, one will get to see a bunch of new PUBG items. The MP9 weapon can be traced on the Deston map. It happens to be the first-ever SMG that is powered by 9mm ammunition. Now, players will have the option of using the MP9 instead of the P90. You can also use the map to find a new item in the form of the Folded Shield. It is a deployable cover that enables players to safeguard themselves in open spaces. There is also the Blue Chip Detector that utilizes a weapon slot and does a good job at scanning enemies within a 100m range.
