The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will arrive as the successor to the first foldable Xiaomi Mix Flip from Xiaomi.
While the smartphone has been now spotted on the EEC Certification database, a report reveals some details of the same.
EEC Certification Database Listing
The handset has been listed on the EEC Certification database with its model number 2505APX7BG. Although the name of the smartphone has not been mentioned, the model number is in line with those mentioned for the Mix Flip 2 on the GSMA IMEI database. The EEC certification confirms the availability of the handset in the European markets.

The GSMA IMEI database listing reveals the Chinese and global variants of the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2. The Chinese variant features the 2505APX7BC model number while the global variant has the 2505APX7BG model number.
Rumored Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Specifications
Very little information about the Mix Flip 2 is available at the moment. However, a couple of Weibo posts shared by noteworthy tipster Digital Chat Station reveal a few interesting details about the handset. The tipster points out that the smartphone will feature a major upgrade over its predecessor.

According to one post, the handset will have a small form factor and be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset under its hood. The other post states that the smartphone will be more versatile and thinner than before. The Mix Flip 2 will also depict two features that were not present in the first-generation foldable. These are an IPX8 rating and support for wireless charging.
If the leaks are anything to go by, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will be launched in the first half of next year in around May 2025. This indicates that the China launch will be advanced by a couple of months. Also, the handset will compete with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 as this is anticipated to be the only other foldable with the same processor.
