Xiaomi has unveiled a special edition of the Redmi Note 4X in China today. The tech giant says that the newly announced limited edition will be similar to the Indian version of the same phone that was launched not so long ago, however, it is meant to attract fans of Japanese hologram pop star Hatsune Miku.
Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Hatsune Miku special edition has been confirmed, it is not yet available for purchase. Instead, the Chinese tech giant has spared it for Valentine’s Day. This should also be the same time the pricing details of the phone will be made public. But since this limited edition will carry the same specs as the Redmi Note 4X that recently launched in India, we have an idea of what specs are coming.
The screen size is 5.5 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD). Under the hood, the Hatsune Miku limited edition of the Note 4X will come with a Snapdragon 625 processor that should be paired with a RAM of 4GB. There will be storage of 64GB, which can be expanded via a microSD card. The back of the phone will come with a fingerprint scanner and a 13MP snapper while the front will feature a 5MP snapper.
Like its Indian counterpart, there will be a 4100mAh battery to keep it alive with support for fast charging technology. In terms of appearance, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Hatsune Miku edition has a number of options that you can pick from. These include Matte Black, Champagne Gold, Cherry Powder, Platinum Silver and the Hatsune Green variant.
This special edition of the Redmi Note 4X is brought to you by Xiaomi in conjunction with the creator of Hatsune Miku, Crypton Future Media and if you buy this limited edition, you also get a free Mi power bank alongside a Hatsune Miku-branded smartphone case.
