Last month, a yet-to-be-released ZTE Blade A6 appeared on Wi-Fi Alliance with Android 7.1.1 Nougat running the show.
Even before the Chinese company sheds more light on what this device will come in with, the WFA has just cleared another variant of the same phone dubbed ZTE Blade A6 Lite. As the name suggests, this should be a slimmed-down variant of the former, but as usual with WFA listings, we only get a handful of details.
For instance, we know that the ZTE Blade A6 Lite will be powered by Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box, just like the standard A6. The listing further confirms that the phone will come with model number A0622 and firmware version GEN_RU_A6 LITE_V1.0, but as for the rest of the details, nothing is clear just yet.
The details of the ZTE Blade A6 are still unknown and so are those of the newly listed A6 Lite. However, these Wi-Fi Alliance certifications mean that it won’t be long before the Chinese OEM takes the wraps off the pair. We’ll be here to let you know when it does.
