Some leaked reports reveal a few interesting rumors regarding the images and specifications of the new Asus X00GD and the ZTE Blade V8, prior to the CES 2017 event.
Here’s everything you need to know about these two upcoming smartphones.
ZTE Blade V8
Earlier this year, ZTE had released the Axon 7, followed by the Axon 7 Mini and raised the bar in the budget smartphone category. Now, the China-based smartphone maker is all set to enter the New Year by ringing the right bells at the CES 2017, to be held in January in Las Vegas, by launching another blockbuster smartphone, the ZTE Blade V8.
According to the leaked reports, the ZTE Blade V8, which has received TENAA certification, will feature dual rear cameras and will run on the latest version of Android 7.0 Nougat. Weighing just 141g and boasting of a sleek frame at 7.7 mm thickness, the V8 will have a 5.2-inch touch-enabled Full HD display screen of 1920×1080 resolution. Apart from the 2730 mAh Li-Po battery, the smartphone will be power driven by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 circuit unit from Qualcomm, with 2 GB RAM being the least offered option that is paired with internal storage of 16 GB capacity. The device also comes with upgraded options carrying 3 GB and 4 GB RAM, that is paired significantly with 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage options, respectively. The dual rear cameras come with 13 megapixel and 2 megapixel resolutions, whereas the front-facing camera has a resolution of 8MP.
Similar to the ZTE Blade V8, the Asus X00GD had also fallen prey to leaks and rumors about its specifications and images. According to TENAA, the new smartphone from Asus will be shipped with the model number X00GD, and just like the ZTE Blade V8, even the Asus X00GD smartphone will run on the latest version of the Android 7.0 Nougat. Hence, it will be the first smartphone from Asus to be trucked with Nougat, from right out of the box.
As evident from the leaked images, Asus X00GD has a slim body of 8.85 mm thickness and will come with a 5.2-inch HD display screen and sport a huge 4850 mAh battery. Weighing just 169.5g, the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core processor of 1.5GHz, with a MediaTek MT6750 processor. If the rumors are to be believed, the smartphone will come with three options for internal storage, namely 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB storage along with variants of 2 GB, 3 GB, and 4 GB of RAM respectively. The device will also have a microSD slot to expand the storage up to 128 GB and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The front camera will have a resolution of 8 MP, whereas the rear camera will come with 13 MP resolutions.
With a huge bandwagon of smartphones being unveiled and launched next week at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017, it will be quite interesting to see if the rumors regarding the Asus X00 GD and the ZTE Blade V8 stand true to the leaks.
