Chevrolet was kind enough to let us know the type of powertrain they are going for. The 2017 Camaro ZL1 uses a 6.2-liter V8 engine which is capable of delivering a cool 650 horsepower coupled with 650 lb feet of torque. They have visibly bumped the engine to extract such power. With the power package, these cars can reach 60 miles per hour in just 5.2 seconds.
