The 2017 Honda CR-V turbo edition is coming to Australia and with the release date close, the company has announced the pricing, specifications of the model before they hit the stores.

The turbo power is something that has been a coveted model that Australian buyers couldn’t own for a very long time. Much to the delight of car lovers, Honda has decided to launch the edition for the first time in the region. Given the seven seater’s spacious design and the added advantage of a powerful engine, it becomes the best choice for those who need a car for a large family. The medium SUV turbo edition will be quite expensive but the base edition of the car is quite affordable as it starts at $30, 690.

Compared to the outgoing edition of the CR-V, the new model costs $900 more which is not a huge jump yet may make some customers think twice before they buy it. The trimlines available vary as it includes a VTi, VTi-S, VTi-L and the top of the line VTi-LX edition. They are very similar to the lineup used for the hatchback and the sedan.

The entry level 2017 Honda CR-V priced at $30,690 is the VTi model which comes bundled with features including push button start, rear view camera, keyless entry, dual zone cliamte control, active noise control and a large 7.0-inch display that makes the dashboard user friendly. The infotainment system provided in the new Honda car supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Designed to be high on entertainment, the car is equipped with an eight speaker audio system for surround sound experience.

It also includes LED day time running lights, front fog lights, electric park brake and 17-inch alloy wheels. Safety features found in the entry level model are driver attention monitor, tire pressure monitor and the trailer stability assist that provides better control on the large body of the SUV. The trimline continues with the VTi-S model which is priced at $33,290 for the front wheel drive while if you prefer an all-wheel drive setup, it will set you back by $35,490. It includes all the above said features and also has larger 18-inch alloy wheels, built-in satellite navigation, Lane watch mirror mounted camera, electric tailgate and front/ rear parking sensors.

The VTi-L priced at $38,990 includes panoramic sun roof, heater front seats, automatic wipers and also has a front wheel drive setup. It doesn’t allow buyers to upgrade to an all-wheel drive. The VTi-LX at $44,290 is the best and the top of the line model that has AEB system, DAB+ digital radio and a whole lot of other useful features for a joyous ride.
