The 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport is read to make its big debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show scheduled to take place in the month of September.
While the automobile manufacturer is definitely not going to leak all the details including specifications and pricing before the actual launch date, the company has released photographs that show how advanced and stylish the interior of the car would like. The car will be shown in metal at the Frankfurt show along with actual price as well as the date on which it will go on sale.
Going by the trend so far, Suzuki is going to price the new Swift Sport in a way that it stays budget friendly for most buyers while ushering in new features which would make it more appealing to new customers. Under the hood, the car is expected to be powered by a 1.0-liter powertrain capable of producing about 138 horsepower. A similar performance is rendered by its two direct competitors, the Volkswagen Up! GTI edition and the Ford Fiesta.
Suzuki is yet to confirm the type of powertrain they plan to use. When they do so, they should offer an increased horsepower compared to the outgoing model. It is essential for the model to be able to come up as a valid competitor to other high performance variants from top brands. A couple of images of the redesigned 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport has been released online. Going by the changes, it is easy to spot that the car will look sporty and sleek with diamond cut alloy wheels, fully revamped front grille, side skirts and a compact front splitter.

The photograph of the interior of the car confirms that they have made some subtle yet useful changes to make it appealing. A range of technology options, connectivity features will be implemented in the new Swift Sport. The dashboard features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system while an additional 4.2-inch display adds up as the instrument panel. As expected, the setup supports both Apple Car Play and Android Auto connectivity options. Getting your smartphone content to the entertainment system should be an easy task.
While official pricing is yet to be revealed by the company, it is expected that it will stay well within the affordable £16,000 so that most buyers could either upgrade their existing model or go for the new 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport directly for the unique add-ons it offers at an affordable pricing.
