2022 Apple iPhone SE and iPad Air Models Certified in EEC Database

iPhone SE2 - Rumored Specs, Release Date, Pricing and Everything You Should Know

A batch of upcoming Apple iPhone and iPad model numbers have been certified by the Eurasian authority.

The new model numbers belong to Apple iPads and iPhones as hinted by the text that appears in the certifications. As is the norm with the EEC certification, we only get to know the model numbers, the operating systems they will run on, and the type of products. However, the exact names of the devices these model numbers belong to, are not mentioned. But these certifications are more than enough for us to make an educated guess on what these could belong to.

The filings in Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) have usually disclosed Apple’s upcoming model numbers. This always happens about 3-4 months ahead of the actual release of the devices. The fact that these models have appeared at this time of the year means that these could belong to the new iPhone SE series and the iPad Air 5. These could be unveiled during March or April this year as part of Apple’s spring conference.

The new iPhone model numbers are A2783, A2784, and A2595. The new 5th generation iPad Air models are A2436, A2437, A2588,  A2589, A2591, A2696, A2757,  A2759, A2777, A2761, and A2766. The iPhones and iPads will be powered by iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 respectively.

Apple iPhone SE+ 5G?

The 2022 Apple iPhone SE model is likely to have the same design as the current generation iPhone SE. There are rumors that it could be called as iPhone SE+ 5G instead of iPhone SE 3. The display size would be 4.7 inches. The chipset would be A15 Bionic and will support 5G. The fifth-gen iPad is likely to have the same features as the iPad mini 6th gen and will have A15 Bionic chip, 12MP camera for selfies, 5G support and Quad-LED flash.
