Alcatel Flash Sports Dual Cameras on Front and Rear for Photography Enthusiasts

The newly announced Alcatel Flash is taking the most popular route, by including a dual camera setup both on the rear side and the front.

Smartphone manufacturers are of late increasingly focusing on improving the camera performance on their devices. While as a matter of fact, the battery life continues to falter even in flagship smartphones, for some odd reason these brands are not interested in making their phones run for two or three days without having to hit the power point. Instead, the Alcatel Flash tries to provide an amazing front camera for kickass selfies and an equally good dual camera setup in the rear side.

In terms of specifications, the phone features a 5.5-inch display and is powered by a Helio X20 deca core processor. It has 3GB of RAM which should be more than enough for keeping multiple apps open at the same time coupled with 32GB of storage space. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner and a moderate 3,200mAh battery to get it through the day.

The camera performance seems to be the primary focus for the phone as it houses two 13-megapixel sensors. These sensors work in unison as one is capable of taking color photographs while the other takes black & white photos. The lens have an aperture of f/2.0 which is found in other flagship devices, specifically the Huawei phones that offer the best in class camera in all their latest models. The sensors combine both photographs together to form a sharper image with vibrant colors.

An equally impressive dual front camera setup in the front features an 8 megapixel camera and a 5 megapixel camera. Both these sensors have the same aperture size and will be used to take wide angle selfie photographs as well as images with sharper details which will be on par with the quality of the rear cameras. You can even adjust the focus on your pictures after clicking them with the rear camera. This is just one of the many unique features integrated in the Alcatel Flash that also allows you to store RAW photographs in their original format. Such a feature is a welcome addition for professionals who may use their smartphone camera occasionally.

Alcatel is yet to announce the pricing and availability of the smartphone. The Alcatel Flash may not be groundbreaking due to competition but is a worthy entrant among other flagship phones with a dual camera setup.
