With each passing day comes a new Samsung Galaxy S8 leak and the latest comes in form of images showcasing the gold color variant of the phone.
We’ve seen the details about the expected hardware specs of the Galaxy S8 and S8+. We also know when to expect the phones in the market, but none of these is coming from Samsung itself. Still, some of the tipsters can be trusted with their info, but it doesn’t each and every detail they give out will materialize.
For instance, the latest images of the gold variant of the 2017 Samsung Galaxy S8 cannot be fully trusted as they have no association with Samsung. But like any other rumor that is flying around, they image as a closer look at what the phone could look like and in fact, you might be easily fooled into believing that this indeed the S8.
It is also possible that the alleged Samsung Galaxy S8 image could be for a dummy model, but this cannot be confirmed as well. Nonetheless, the leaked images are very close to what has already been leaked before it. It shows off very thin bezels at the top and bottom ends of the phone and the edges are curved, just like the S7 Edge and Note 7. The image also confirms that the physical home button is no more while the upper bezel has indeed housed an iris scanner.
We don’t have the rear view of the phone, but Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to shift the fingerprint scanner to the back, just beside the main camera. The tech giant is also rumored to be working on an AI-based voice assistant known as Bixby and apparently, this Bixby will get a dedicated launch button on the phone, just like the power and volume rocker buttons.
As for the specs, the Galaxy S8 is expected to ship with a 5.8-inch QHD AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage that can be expanded, 12MP main camera and 8MP front camera. Android Nougat will power the phone out of the box. Since the phone will not be here until somewhere in April, we still have time for more rumors, speculations, and leaks – you better be ready!
