A new model number, Vivo V1938T, has appeared today in China’s CCC certification website and this could possibly be the upcoming Vivo X30 5G phone.
The 3C certification confirms that this phone will support dual 5G band. It also supports 33W fast charging and comes with the charger V3330LOAO-CN. Apart from this information, no other details have been obtained. This is also the first time this model number has made its way to any certification site. Hence we don’t know much about the confirmed specifications of this phone.
Recently Vivo officially announced its upcoming phone Vivo X30 in an event scheduled in China. Vivo X30 5G will be the first-ever smartphone to support dual-mode 5G connectivity. This phone will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 980 SoC instead of a Qualcomm chipset that usually powers Vivo smartphones. The reason is the support for dual-mode 5G which no other processor supports at this point in time.
Exynos 980 SoC comes with AI capabilities which offers improved connectivity. The octacore chipset is 8nm thick and has 2 Cortex A77 cores, 6 Cortex A55 cores and also has Mail G76 GPU. During the event, Vivo did not confirm the exact specifications of the phone. The rumored specs suggest that this phone will have a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display, fingerprint on-display and 90Hz refresh rate. It is also likely to come with quad core camera setup in the rear which includes a 64MP primary sensor along with 13MP+8MP+2MP sensors.
The RAM and storage variants are expected to be 6GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB respectively. Vivo X30 5G could be powered by a 4500 mAh battery. Vivo X30 is likely to be released by the end of December this year. The phone could be released in multiple countries other than China. Stay tuned for more updates on this phone.
