Vivo Y9s will be released in China as the rebranded version of the Vivo V17 phone. Vivo V1945A/T are the model number variants of this phone.
As per the China Telecom listing spotted today, the phone with the model number Vivo V1945A has appeared along with the moniker Vivo Y9s.
The same model number already appeared recently with full specs and images in China’s TENAA listing. The phone had also bagged China’s CCC listing which revealed that it will have 18W charging support.
Russia’s Vivo website confirms that the preorders for Vivo V17 have started from November 20 and will be valid till December 5. They will be shipped between December 2 to 5. What’s interesting is that for every preorder placed, the buyer will be offered a Vivo Y11 smartphone as a gift. Vivo Y11 is a budget phone with a 6.4″ screen and a rear fingerprint sensor.

The specs of the phone in the Shouji listing match with the specs on Russia’s Vivo V17 page and China Telecom’s page as well, which confirms that these are the same phones released in different countries with different names. Earlier, Vivo Y7s was released in China and the same phone was released in India under the name of Vivo S1 and with the moniker Vivo V17 Neo in Russia.
Vivo Y9s / Vivo Y11 Specs
The processor of the phone will be the octacore Snapdragon 665 chipset which has 4 cores of Cortext A73 clocking at 2GHz and 4 cores of Cortex A53 clocking at 1.8GHz respectively. It comes with Adreno 610 GPU. The battery of the phone will have a capacity of 4500 mAh. The display will be 6.38 inches with a screen resolution of 1080×2340 Full HD+. There will be 4 rear cameras arranged in a rectangle or diamond-shape in the rear side which have 48MP AI sensor + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors. The front camera is 32MP.
While the Shouji and China Telecom pages indicate the presence of both 6GB and 8GB variants, there is only the 8GB variant available in Russia. Similarly, the phone will be released in both 128GB and 256GB variants in China whereas in Russia, it will be released only with 128GB. A microSD slot supports expansion up to 256GB.
The price of Vivo V17 in Russia is 22990 Rubles.
The price of Vivo Y9s in China is 2198 Yuan. The release date of Vivo Y9s is mentioned as November 24 in the China Telecom website.
