Even though Android Wear 2.0 is already here, not every smartwatch company has confirmed whether or not their current Android Wear devices will be receiving the new OS.
Launched together with LG Watch Style and Watch Sport, the new OS is currently available for download, but not all watches have been given an OK to do so from their manufacturers. But this won’t last long, especially if you use any Fossil Group smartwatch. Apparently, the American company has confirmed that all smartwatches currently on the original Android Wear OS will be updated to the latest Android Wear 2.0 beginning mid-March.
If you look at your calendar, this should tell you that your device stands a chance of receiving the new Android Wear 2.0 in about two weeks’ time. The confirmation by the fashion designer company that this update will come to its devices should come as a huge relief for current owners of Fossil smartwatches. This is true because many companies have remained quiet on whether their watches will be updated sooner or later.
The update is expected to be released in mid March to all of our devices.

This statement came in when a concerned Twitter user who goes by the name Musytitan and has the handle @dancraft98 asked when the popular Q Founder model will be updated to the new Android Wear 2.0 OS. To many people’s surprise, including us here at Nashville Chatter, Fossil responded by saying that the update will be available in mid-March. If you have been rocking a Fossil watch on your wrist for some time now, well, this should come as great news for you.
