Apple is making some big business decisions by cutting off some devices while reviving the less popular ones.

The Apple iPhone SE2 is rumored to get launched at WWDC 2018 this year and the event will reportedly take place in the month of June.

The company has taken a different route by going completely bezel-less with the iPhone X which also got rid of the headphone jack and the home button. Apple engineers are working on ways to implement the button on the screen and also make Face ID more reliable so that it’s easier to unlock the phone at a glance. Based on recent reports, it is expected that they would launch three different smartphones in 2018 but a fourth one will be unveiled way ahead of the next iPhone X.

The three models scheduled for launch towards the end of the year include an iPhone 9 with 6.1-inch LCD display and will sport a single camera in the rear. While most believed that the iPhone range will be discontinued to pave way for the X models, it looks like Apple will retain the variant with a home button so as to keep the majority of their buyers happy while embracing new technology at the same time.

The other two models will be the iPhone Xs which will feature a 5.8-inch OLED display along with a much bigger variant named iPhone Xs Plus with a 6.5-inch OLED display. Recently, Samsung reportedly faced a huge loss as the iPhone X models didn’t sell as expected and the large number of OLED displays they created couldn’t be sold to Apple. Besides, the company even expected OLEDs to become the norm in all smartphones but it didn’t happen as manufacturers are looking for ways to come up with a more battery efficient display.

A surprise announcement comes from Apple now which claims iPhone SE2 is coming and it will sport a slightly larger 4.2-inch display when compared to the original 4-inch model. The device will be powered by the latest A10 chipset with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and being an iPhone, it obviously will not feature an SD card slot for expansion. Buyers can consider going for the 128GB variant and thankfully, the phone will retain the home button with a fingerprint scanner. The iPhone SE2 is expected to get launched at WWDC 2018 with a price tag of $630.
