Xiaomi is leaving no stones unturned in the world of smartphones as the company is going to launch a model dedicated to gaming.
Taking inspirations from the Razer Smartphone, the new model will sport the latest hardware specifications and will have gaming specific features to attract the crowd.
When Razer smartphone got launched, industry experts weren’t sure how a gaming phone would go to the buyers. The device with its 120Hz screen refresh rate capabilities, Dolby Atmos sound,and HDR support distinguished itself from the crowd with these features. In the saturated smartphone market, manufacturers have decided to provide unique features unlike no other. LG offers dual DAC, Samsung is focusing more on camera and bezel-less design while a gaming device doesn’t sound like a bad idea.
Xiaomi is hugely popular in the world of smartphones as the company has been experiencing the best ever sales in recent times. Their budget-friendly yet premium quality phones have managed to become extremely popular especially in the Asian continent. The manufacturer may soon launch a gaming smartphone named BlackShark which got leaked earlier because of an Antutu benchmark screenshot.

Based on the screenshot, it has been reportedly confirmed that Xiaomi’s BlackShark gaming phone will sport flagship hardware including the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor combined with 8GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space. Being a gaming device, it won’t be surprising if the manufacturer also reveals other variants with 64GB or 128GB storage variants so that you could store multiple titles at once. The phone powered by Adreno 630 GPU is expected to do all the heavy lifting for non-stop gaming and it should be more than capable of handling modern titles available on the Android OS.
The rumored Xiaomi BlackShark phone will run on Android 8.0 out of the box, will have all the expected features including a fingerprint sensor, decent camera,and battery life. It competes directly with the Razer Smartphone in terms of gaming performance and boasts of a spectacular display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, an 18:9 aspect ratio ideal for media consumption.
The pricing will play an integral role in making the gaming smartphone from Xiaomi reach its target audience. The manufacturer has always priced their phones right and this should be no different especially when they might focus more on Asian buyers than those in the US or Europe who already has access to the Razer Smartphone.
