Apple Watch Series 7 renders reveal that it will be boxier and more straight-edged this time.
Apple is expected to unveil the Watch Series 7 alongside the iPhone 13 series at an event that usually happens in September month. In the past several months, the rumor mill was high for iPhone 13 series but we have not heard much about the Series 7.
91Mobiles has published CAD renders of the Apple Watch Series 7, courtesy of industry sources. It reveals that Apple is making some design changes to the new watch series. According to the report, the upcoming Apple Watch will have a more boxy design than previous generations.
Reportedly, the Series 7 is more straight-edged which seems to have taken inspiration from iPhone 12 models. The new Apple Watch is said to have a 9mm thickness instead of the 10.7m thickness of the Apple Watch Series 6. It may come with a silicone strap that should be offered in a variety of options.
As per the renders, the right side of the watch will house a Digital Crown, a microphone, and a button, while the speakers are located on the left side. A heart rate monitor along with other sensors can be located at the back of the watch.
The publication claims that Watch Series 7 will be available in a 44mm model, which has a 1.8-inch display. It will reportedly measure 44x38x9mm. Earlier this month, the upcoming Watch Series 7 models numbers A2473, A2473, A2475, A2476, A2477, and A2478 got approval from Russia’s EEC authority. The certification didn’t reveal any details about the watch, but confirm the existence of new Apple watches.
