Vivo Y21s and Vivo Y33s launch seem imminent as the devices have now received certification from GCF.
Vivo is reportedly gearing up to add more devices to its affordable Y-series dubbed Vivo Y21s and Vivo Y33s. The former belongs to the budget category, while the latter may belong to the mid-range segment. Today, we have spotted both the Vivo Y21s and Y33s on GCF certification which confirms the moniker and hints at an imminent launch. The GCF listing reveals that Vivo Y21s carries model number V2110 and the Vivo Y33s smartphone has the model number V2109.
The GCF certification fails to reveal more details about the phone. The smartphones have also been spotted on Bluetooth SIG and Indonesia’s TKDN certification. A recent online report revealed pretty much everything about the Vivo Y33s except the launch date and pricing. According to the report, the smartphone might launch in India as early as next week.
Vivo Y33s Specifications (rumored)
The renders reveal that the Vivo Y33s has a rectangular camera module on the back, which pretty much resembles the Vivo S10. It houses three camera sensors and an LED flash. The phone may be offered in two color options. Vivo Y33s is said to have a 6.58-inch Halo FullView display with 2408×1080 pixels FullHD+ resolution, 96% NTSC color gamut, and 90.6% screen to body ratio. Under the hood, it may be powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The smartphone supports 4GB virtual RAM and has a microSD card slot for additional storage up to 1TB. Vivo Y33s features a triple rear camera setup which includes a 50MP primary shooter, a 2MP bokeh lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. It has a waterdrop notch style 16MP selfie shooter. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support over a USB Type-C port. It boots Android-11 based Funtouch OS 11.1. In terms of connectivity, Y33s has Bluetooth v5.0, 4G, Wi-Fi 2.4/5GHz, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Vivo Y21s Specifications (rumored)
The Vivo Y21s carries model number V2110 whose moniker was recently confirmed by Indonesia’s Telecom certification. It was also spotted on Geekbench with MediaTek Helio G80 SoC which is coupled with 4GB RAM. The phone boots Android 11 out of the box and is likely to come with Funtouch OS 11.1 skin at the top.
As of now, Vivo hasn’t announced any details regarding these new Y-series phones. Since the phones have already bagged multiple certifications, we are likely to hear an official announcement very soon.
