It is not just the Moto G4 and G4 Plus that turned to be a huge success in the midrange family, but the entry-level Moto G4 Play was equally a huge success as its counterparts.
The Moto G4 Play was launched last year alongside the Moto G4 and G4 Plus as the low-end model in the series, but this doesn’t make it a low-grade phone. With the Moto G5 Play probably set to be unveiled in less than 10 days, the 2016 Moto G4 Play has started attracting some really interesting discounts.
It started last year and it is back again, this time with giant retailer B&H Photo Video. Here, you can now grab the Moto G4 Play for a mere $99.99, down from the usual price of $149.99. However, you’ll have to jump a few hurdles before getting your hands on this sweet deal.
A quick look at the official B&H Photo Video website reveals that the price of the Moto G4 Play has already been slashed to $129.99, which means you save $20. There is no doubt that this is already a decent price for this phone, but there is more, at least according to Android Police.
According to the Android-centric website, you can get the price of the Moto G4 Play from the current $129.99 to $99.99 with the help of a promo code. Before you check out, make sure you enter the promo code MGPLAYSPE and this will get an extra $30 off the price of the phone. At the moment, you can grab the G4 Play in either black or white color variant.
In terms of specs, the Moto G4 Play ships with a 5-inch LCD screen with HD resolution. There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor running the show and this is paired with a RAM of 2GB alongside 16GB of expandable storage. The back camera has an 8MP shooter while the front ships with a 5MP lens. To keep the phone alive is a 2800mAh battery, almost the same size as the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus.
