Russia has begun sales of the Huawei Honor 6X smartphone.
This handset is economically priced at about 15,000 rubles for the basic model when compared to the various advanced dual camera devices in the market today. The ongoing flash sale offers the smartphone in three colors – gold, silver and gray. The manufacturer released this Honor gadget in other parts of the world about three months earlier in October 2016. Three versions of this smartphone are now available in the country.
The Huawei Honor 6X houses a sleek metal body. With a dimension of 150.9 x 76.2 x 8.2mm and a weight of 162g, the device is neither too big nor too bulky. The metal body also gives the handset a classy look. As far as the display is concerned, the gadget has a multi touch-sensitive S-IPS LCD screen. The 5.5-inch full HD screen has a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and a 403ppi pixel density. In the camera department, the smartphone houses two primary rear 12MP and 8MP cameras with flash and one front secondary 8MP camera. The 12MP snapper has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and records 720p and 1080p HD videos. On the other hand, the 8MP shooter features a 3264 x 2448 resolution. The second rear 2MP camera helps out with controlling the field depth and enhances the quality of photos shot in low or dim light conditions. Apart from the standard camera features, some salient features of the Honor 6X primary cameras include ultra snapshot, watermark, audio note and time function. For the secondary snapper, the perfect selfie, smile snapshot and makeup mode attributes need special mention.
All three variations of the Huawei Honor 6X deploy the same octa core Huawei Kirin 655 processor functioning as two quad core processors with clocking frequencies of 2.1GHz an 1.7GHz. The variations are based on the amount of RAM and internal storage integrated into the smartphone. The basic model houses 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage. The slightly advanced models include 4GB RAM with 32GB and 64GB storage options. A memory card can be inserted into one of the SIM card slots to expand the existing storage by a further 128GB. The 6X works on Android 6.0 Marshmallow interlaced with the manufacturer’s Huawei EMUI 4.1.
The Honor smartphone has a massive 3,340 mAh battery that assures you of long hours of performance. With just one charge, you typically get to access 11.5 hours of video, 70 hours of music or your favorite game for eight hours without any interruption. A fully charged battery supports 2.15 days of normal use and 1.5 days of extensive use. The connectivity options include almost all the normal options like 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 4.1, GPRS with GPS, A-GPS or Glonass and Wi-Fi 802.11 (b/g/n).
