The new software update from Verizon takes the Android security patch level to September 2021 for all the devices mentioned in this post.

Verizon has now released the September 2021 security update for some Galaxy S10, S20, and Galaxy A series phones which includes Galaxy S10, S10+, S10e, Galaxy S20+ 5G, S20 Ultra 5G, Galaxy A50, A51 5G, A71 5G. LG V60 ThinQ 5G, LG Velvet 5G, and LG Wing 5G are also receiving September 2021 security updates from Verizon. Read more about the new update in their respective section.

Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e

Verizon-bound Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e are receiving a new software update. It brings the September 2021 security patch which fixes over 50 vulnerabilities related to system security and privacy. It is rolling out as system update number 31 for the Galaxy S10, S10+, and Galaxy S10e on the Verizon network.

Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G and Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G

System update number 20 is now rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G and Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G. It brings the latest security patch released in September 2021. As it is a minor security patch update, don’t expect to see any new features, performance improvements, or UI changes.

Samsung Galaxy A50, Galaxy A51 5G, and Galaxy A71 5G

Samsung was the first to release the September 2021 security patch which debuted on Galaxy S20 FE. Now, it has reached a bunch of phones, and now it’s time for Verizon to send the newest security update to Galaxy A50, Galaxy A51 5G, and Galaxy A71 5G. It is rolling out as the 24th system update for Galaxy A50, 7th for Galaxy A51 5G, and 8th update for Galaxy A71 5G.

LG V60 ThinQ 5G, LG Velvet 5G, and LG Wing 5G

September 2021 security update is also rolling out to V60 ThinQ 5G, LG Velvet 5G, and LG Wing 5G on the Verizon network. Similar to other Samsung phones in this post, the September update for LG phones also does not bring anything more than just a new security patch. It comes as the 7th system update for LG Velvet 5G, Wing 5G, while LG V60 ThinQ 5G is receiving its 11th system update from Verizon.
