The Google I/O event, which is organized once every year and keenly looked forward to by fans has seen the announcements of Google Pixel 6a, Pixel 7 and 7 Pro phones.

The Google I/O 2022 event turned out to be extremely special for Google fans as the company used this event as a platform to make an announcement about its upcoming smartphones. In 2022, one will get the opportunity to choose from three new Google smartphones.

One of the most anticipated phones by Google is the Pixel 6a, which happens to be the next model in the Pixel 6 series. This particular smartphone will hit the stores in the month of July. The other two smartphones that will be launched by the company are Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. These two smartphones will hit the stores towards the latter half of the year.

After the official announcement, fans were expecting Google to share important details pertaining to the phone. However, that did not happen. The tech giant barely shared anything about the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro during the event. Google, however, made a confirmation about the 7 and 7 Pro phones featuring the upgraded version of the Tensor chip. It has also been confirmed that both these smartphones will run on Android 13.

To compensate for the limited information shared, Google decided to share some high-quality pictures of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro which should help people get some idea about the soon-to-be-launched devices. The design of these two smartphones seems to be very similar to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 which came out a while back. The phones feature a slightly elevated ‘camera bar’ at the rear end where one can see the cameras. The metallic bar on these smartphones looks very stylish. The Pixel 7 model will feature two rear cameras and the Pixel 7 Pro will have three.

The smartphone will have a 6.1-inch OLED screen offering a refresh rate of 60Hz. It will run on a 4,400mAh battery. The camera, placed at the front, shall have a resolution of 8 megapixels. The rear camera, on the other hand, will offer a resolution of 12.2 megapixels. Pixel 6a will be available in three different color variants including white, black and green.
