Henrik Fisker confirmed that the company is working on a brand new luxury car. The stylish model features butterfly wing doors and was revealed in a teaser image released on Twitter.

The teaser image shows off very little information with regards to the model. The photo hides most of the car in shadows while the butterfly doors are the only prominent aspect that one could make of it. The car designed however has confirmed that they are not going to keep their beloved patrons in the dark. More details related to this particular model will be revealed by next week, the designer confirmed.

The front fascia of the Henrik Fisker car is very unique as it looks sleek but has a large protruding nose. The swooping roofline ends in a short back end and seamlessly merges into narrow taillights. The butterfly doors are not an uncommon design as they are found in many sports car and provides a sporty finish to any car. Tesla had a lot of issues with their gullwing doors for the Model X SUV and so did many other manufacturers in trying to implement unique designers into small cars.

While the new car has some similarities with the Karma Revero, it has nothing to do with the Revero and is a completely different car of its own. Henrik Fisker no longer works with the parent company he started with. Instead, he has cut off his ties and is trying to work on a spiritual successor to the Fisker Karma model. It was one of the iconic cars from the past that made such a huge mark in the automobile world in 2014. But, a lot of practical issues ensured that the Fisker Karma never took off. Fisker is quite aware of the fact and is confident that the new car scheduled to get launched in 2017 will fill its space.

He is one of the most popular designers who has created some of the most iconic cars in the past few years. Most known him with the Karma but he was the designer behind models including Aston Martin DB9, BMW Z8 roadster and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage. The designer is working on a number of projects and will probably have at least a design models with his name in the next few years. The creations are notable that continues to attract more automakers to approach him to design their future models.
