Leaks suggest that the upcoming HTC One X10 releasing by end of January 2017 will come with upgraded 7.9 MP Selfie camera and 16.3 MP rear camera.
There are also leaks suggesting that HTC’s flagship device for 2017, the HTC 11 will be released by the end of March this year.
End of January Release
It is rumored that HTC will be offering a new smartphone, the HTC One X10, which will be released by the end of this month. The leaks come from a reliable leakster, Evan Blass of @evleaks fame. The HTC One X10 will be the successor of the earlier iteration, the HTC One X9 released in 2016. The smartphone has received certification in Russia. A rumor claims that the Helio P10 of Media Tek will power the new device. The HTC One X10 will come with a 5.5 inches screen display and a resolution of 1080 pixels. The RAM will be 3 GB and the rear camera or primary camera has a resolution of 16.3 MP.
Refresh of HTC One X9
However, the processor on the new 2017 model, the HTC One X10 is less powerful when compared to the Helio X10 that was present on the 2016 model, the One X9. The display along with the internal storage and the RAM are the same on the HTC One X10 and the X9. So, the new HTC One X10 2017 model can at best be considered as a refresh to the X9 that debuted in 2016. It is not a very enhanced version but only a refresh. There is a change in the design of the HTC One X10, when compared to the earlier HTC One X9. This can be seen in the images of the upcoming device that have been leaked. It can be seen that the fingerprint scanner is present on the back of the device.
The camera on the HTC One X10 has been upped to 16.3 MP, when compared to the 13 MP of the previous HTC One X9.
Two New Smartphones
HTC is also planning to launch two other mobile devices by the end of March 2017. One will be the successor for the HTC 10, the HTC 11 and the flagship device for 2017. The other smartphone is running under the codename of Ocean Note. It is an upper end phablet device and comes with curved screen. The camera on the Ocean Note will supposedly be a noteworthy feature.
HTC 11 Rumors
The features of the upcoming HTC 11 in March 2017 are not yet clear at the moment. However, there is a lot of educated guesswork going on about the next flagship device from HTC, the successor to the HTC 10. Going by the history of previous HTC flagship releases, it can be estimated that the HTC 11 will be released some time in March or April, with March being the favorite. It is also possible that HTC will make use of the MWC or Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona on 27th of February for announcing the new flagship phone.
