[Updated: P30 Lite Specs] Huawei P30 and P30 Lite Bag Certifications from Taiwan and China


Huawei P30 with model number ELE-L29 has been approved by National Communications Commission (NCC) and Huawei P30 Lite bearing the model numbers MAR-AL00 / MAR-TL00 has been certified by TENAA agency in China.

The TENAA listing has been updated with dimensions of Huawei P30 Lite. The screen size of the phone is 6.15 inches and the phone will be powered by a 3240 mAh battery. The dimensions of the phone measure 152.9 mm in height, 72.7 mm in width and 7.4 mm in thickness.

The NCC approval of the phone has surfaced just days after the P30 variants ELE-AL00 and ELE-TL00 were recently approved by TENAA earlier this week along with P30 Pro variants VOG-AL00 and VOG-TL00. Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are slated to go official on March 26 through a launch event in Paris, France.

The NCC certification has not revealed any information on the specifications of ELE-L29 smartphone. The TENAA listings of all three P30 series models are up but they are yet to be populated with full specs and images. However, the rumor mill has already revealed plenty of information on these smartphones.

Huawei P30, P30 Pro and P30 Lite Specifications

Recent reports have revealed that the Huawei P30 is codenamed as Elle and its advanced sibling P30 Pro has a codename of Vogue. The P30 may feature a 6.1-inch OLED panel whereas the P30 Pro may come equipped with a 6.5-inch OLED screen. Both the smartphones are rumored to be equipped with in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Kirin 980 chipset that powers the Mate 20 series will be present under the hood of the P30 and P30 Pro flagship phones. The P30 may arrive with 6 GB of RAM and the Pro model may feature up to 12 GB of RAM. It is speculated that there will be a 5G variant of the smartphone.

A triple camera module with a max resolution of 40-megapixel and 5x loseless zoom is expected to be available on the Huawei P30. It will be equipped with a front-facing camera of 24-megapixel. The P30 Pro may feature the same selfie snapper, but its rear panel will have a quad camera setup that may include a 3D ToF (Time of Flight) sensor.

Huawei P30 Lite with codename Marie Clarie and model numbers MAR-AL00 and MAR-TL00 has already obtained CCC certification earlier this month. It’s clear that the phone will support 18W charging. Rumors also indicate that P30 Lite could be powered by Kirin 710 chipset.
