The upcoming flagship phone Huawei P30 Pro with model number VOG-L29 has appeared in Geekbench today, just about a couple of weeks before official announcement.
The geekbench listing shows the presence of 8 GB RAM in this variant that has been tested and it comes with Android 9 OS. The octa core processor clocks at a speed of 1.80 GHz. The single core score of P30 Pro is 3251 whereas the multi core score is 9670. The storage variants of the phone are 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB as confirmed by the certification agency in Taiwan, NCC. There could be a 512 GB variant as well, especially for the higher end P30 Pro.
Huawei P30 series is expected to be launched on March 26 in Paris. There are several images and video teasers doing the rounds already to promote these upcoming phones. These phones are expected to be able to click top quality photographs and videos. The teasers, along with the catchy tagline “Rewrite The Rules“, promise something big and Huawei might offer something nobody has ever done before.
The periscope-style camera which will have capabilities to super-zoom will be main feature to look out for in the P30 Pro phone. The P30 lineup is expected to have 10x loseless zoom and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Huawei P30 Pro will come with 4-camera setup on the rear side, and this was officially confirmed by the CEO Richard Yu. P30 will have triple camera setup with 40 MP + 20 MP + 8 MP sensors and P30 Pro will have an additional ToF sensor that will assist in 3D face scanning.
Huawei P30 Pro is the higher end phone in the P30 series that includes P30 Lite and P30. The P30 Pro device is codenamed as “Vogue”, a popular fashion magazine. We don’t have confirmed information about the other features of the phone, yet.
