iQOO 9 has passed through IMEI Database.
iQOO Neo6 SE is tipped to be powered by Snapdragon 778G+ SoC.
Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has started working on the iQOO 9, a successor to the iQOO 8 launched in August in China. The upcoming phone has been spotted on the IMEI Database. iQOO has not yet launched the iQOO 8 series anywhere except China and has started working on its successor, surprising.

The Chinese smartphone maker is also prepping to launch the iQOO Neo6 SE. It could belong to the mid-range category, while the iQOO 9 will be a flagship offering.
According to the IMEI Database listing, the iQOO 9 carries the model number V2171A. Notably, the same model number is also found on the Indian IMEI Database. Does it mean that the device will launch in India sometime in the future? Probably yes, but not soon, as the brand has not yet unveiled the iQOO 8 series in the country. The IMEI Database fails to reveal any key specifications of the iQOO 9.
iQOO Neo6 SE
Coming to the iQOO Neo6 SE, the device was earlier rumored to launch as iQOO Z5 Pro. A Chinese tipster claims that the Z5 Pro has been officially named iQOO Neo6 SE. Another Chinese tipster @Aresenal reveals that the device could be powered by the Snapdragon 778G+ chipset. This is a new chipset from giant chipmaker Qualcomm, which was announced this week.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC is based on a 6nm manufacturing process. It is basically an overclocked Snapdragon 778G SoC with slightly better GPU performance. The Kryo 670 prime core has a clock speed of 2.5GHz, a slight increase from the 2.4GHz in Snapdragon 778G, and brings Adreno 642L GPU which is claimed to deliver 20% better graphics performance. The rest of the things remains unchanged.
