In early November, a smartphone codenamed LeEco Le X850 passed through TENAA showing off some really impressive specs.
The Le X850 was rumored to ship with a 5.7-inch QHD display screen while under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 would be running the show. This chipset, as you know, comes paired with an Adreno 530 GPU. The TENAA listing also revealed that the LeEco flagship will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Like many other Chinese OEMs, the Le X850 was to come with a dual-lens camera on the back with 13MP sensors while the front would ship with a decent 16MP shooter. To keep the phablet alive, LeEco was thought to be working on a 3900mAh battery.
Well, before even the real name of the LeEco X850 is confirmed by the Chinese OEM, GFXBench has listed another interesting LeTV phone known as LeEco X10 and this one has codename X85x. Looking at the codenames of these two phones, it is easy to say that they are two variants of the same phone. In short, LeEco should be planning to unveil two variants of the LeEco X10, possibly carrying model number X850 and X85x.
According to the listed GFXBench results, the leaked variant of the LeEco X10 has quite a rare kind of hardware configuration. For starters, you get a 5.5-inch QHD display screen. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 820 processor that is paired with either 4GB or 6GB RAM. Similarly, there are also two storage variants of 32GB and 64GB. There is Android Marshmallow to run the show, which should be disappointing from LeEco’s side.
However, the latest LeEco X10 makes up for coming with a year-old operating system by shipping with a quad-lens camera setup. Unlike the previously leaked LeEco X10 (X850), the latest version gets a dual-lens camera on the back and a similar setup on the front as well. Where the back camera has two 13MP shooters, the secondary camera will feature two 16MP lenses. The former can capture up to 4K videos and photos, but the latter can only manage 2K videos, although you still get 4K photos.
