Verizon’s latest system updates are rolled out as OTA updates to four different devices namely LG G7 ThinQ, LG V40 ThinQ, Samsung Galaxy Tab E (8.0 Refresh), Moto G7 Power.
The first two LG smartphones and the Samsung tablet receive the latest security update patches while the fourth one, the Moto G7 Power gets a specific update on an issue related to the accuracy of the battery temperature sensor.
LG G7 ThinQ
This is the system update No.10 from Verizon for the LG G7 ThinQ and it has the latest Android security update patch from Google dated October 1, 2019. Follow the instructions from Verizon on keeping your device connected to a good Wi-Fi source and ensure that the phone has enough battery power.
LG V40 ThinQ
This is the 7th system update from Verizon and comes with the same October 1 2019 Android security update patch.

Samsung Galaxy Tab E (8.0 Refresh)
The Samsung Galaxy Tab E (8.0 Refresh) also gets its 7th system update from Verizon with the latest Android security update patch.
Motorola Moto G7 Power
Verizon’s note mentions that this system update, which is the third from the carrier, is meant to address an issue to improve battery temperature sensor accuracy. Smartphone makers keep receiving feedback from the users of the devices and issues, if any, are fixed through the updates like these. Apart from this specific patch, the latest Android security update patch of October is also included in this update from Verizon.
