Samsung’s official invites have already mentioned the massive size of the Galaxy Note 8.
There are additional rumors to confirm the enlarged size of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
Confirmation from Casemaker
Casemaker, Ghostek, confirms all details of the upcoming Galaxy Note 8. The casemaker has offered some renders showing details of the new smartphone from various sides.
The renders shows by Ghostek have been created from the supply chain of Samsung. They show some of the huge changes that will be presenting themselves in the Galaxy S8. Ghostek is very confident about the source of the latest information. This is because it is not a generic case but the retail case of Samsung’s Cloak series, which is being created for launch.
Huge Changes Expected
- Firstly, the Galaxy Note 8 will be the first premier Samsung smartphone featuring a dual camera on the rear.
- Secondly, the Galaxy Note 8 will be moving towards USB, Type C charge
- The headphone jack will continue to be present
- Bezels will be reduced
- Infinity Display feature has been confirmed by Ghostek, at a huge 6.3 inches screen display.
One of the features that the renders have confirmed is rather disappointing, as far as the external features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is concerned. This is to do with the fingerprint sensor on the phone. The sensor will continue to remain on the rear and is placed in a somewhat silly position. However, the position of the fingerprint sensor is not as ridiculous as it is on the Samsung Galaxy S8 or the Galaxy S8 Plus.
Samsung Leaks Information
Samsung also seems to be keen on offering information regarding the Galaxy Note 8, even months before the launch. One of the company executives has recently claimed that the Galaxy Note 8 will offer advanced multimedia features. However, Samsung has not really confirmed the existence of the Note 8. The official launch has not mentioned the name of the phone as Note 8. The invite only shows the silhouette of the device.
We all know that the iPhone 8 will be coming in a bigger size. Even Google will be increasing the size of the next Pixel. However, it still remains to be wondered whether Samsung has gone too far this time with the size of the Galaxy Note 8. This is in addition to the fact that the price of the new device will also be quite high, which might also mean a breaking point for users.
The official catchphrase of Samsung for the event is Do Bigger Things. The Note 8 will come with a huge size of 6.3 inches and will have an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display size could put of some users, so Samsung is probably paving the way for people to get used to the idea of a large phone.
However, though the Galaxy Note 8 will admittedly be a massive phone, its footprint will be considerably minimized due to the Infinity Display minus the bezel. This has allowed the company to increase the size of the upcoming Note 8.
