The unannounced Moto E6 Plus smartphone has popped up on Geekbench today.

Leaked information that had surfaced in April had revealed the key specifications of the Moto E6 smartphone. Details of the Moto E6 Plus have surfaced for the first time today.

Just as Motorola had launched the Moto E5 series with phones like Moto E5, E5 Plus and E5 Play. It appears that the Moto E6 lineup will also include Moto E6, E6 Plus and E6 Play.

Moto E6 Plus Geekbench Listing

The Geekbench appearance of the Moto E6 Plus reveals that it is powered by MT6762V chipset which is nothing but the Helio P22 SoC. It is supported by 2 GB of RAM and the device is seen running on Android 9 Pie OS. The modest handset has scored 829 in the single-core test of Geekbench. In the multi-core test, it has achieved 3687 points. No other details of the phone are available at the moment.

Moto E6 Plus

The Moto E5 series of smartphones were unveiled in April last year. Hence, there is a possibility that the Lenovo-owned company may soon launch the Moto E6 series.

Moto E6 (Codename: Surfna)

In April, XDA Developers Editor Mishaal Rahman had revealed that the upcoming Moto E6 smartphone is codenamed as “Surfna” and it will be hitting the U.S. markets through different carriers. Leaked information shared by him stated that the Moto E6 Plus may feature a 5.45-inch display that offers 720 x 1440 pixels HD+ resolution. It will be running on Android 9 Pie OS. The handset may come with 2 GB of RAM and it could be available in 16 GB and 32 GB storage editions. The Snapdragon 430 chipset will be fueling both the smartphones. It may sport a rear camera of 13-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture. For capturing selfies, it may house a front-facing camera of 5-megapixel.
