Mysterious HTC 2Q741 Geekbench Listing Reveals Helio P35 and 6 GB RAM

A mysterious HTC phone with model number HTC 2Q741 has been spotted on Geekbench.

The model number has been spotted for the first time. The specs that have appeared through its Geekbench listing reveals that it is an upcoming mid-range phone from the Taiwanese firm.

The HTC 2Q741 smartphone is fueled by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset that includes an octa-core processor that works at 2.3 GHz. The SoC is supported by 6 GB of RAM. The smartphone is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the smartphone has respectively scored 897 and 4385 points.

HTC hasn’t launched a single phone in 2019. Apart from the HTC 2Q741 smartphone, there seems to be two other phones from the company waiting in the pipeline to go official.

HTC 2Q6U10000

In the previous month, a new HTC smartphone with model number 2Q6U10000 was approved by Bluetooth SIG body. Popular tipster Evan Blass had claimed in the past that the company is working on its 5G phone and its model number is 2Q6U. It was speculated that the Bluetooth SIG certified 2Q6U10000 phone could be the HTC U13 flagship phone. Probably, the phone may go official by the end of the first half or in the early second half of the year.

HTC 2Q7A100

The HTC 2Q7A100 is another rumored phone from the company. The handset had appeared on the Geekbench website in April. The listing revealed that the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset and 6 GB of RAM. It is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS.

The identity of the aforementioned HTC phones are under the wraps. Hopefully, further reports will reveal more details of these phones.
