This New Video Reveals Details of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 TouchWiz UX and More

It is not the first time that news of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 coming in with an all new Grace UX is showing up.

Well, there is nothing really much to be overwhelmed about this new user interface – in fact, it is just an update to the current TouchWiz that actually every Sammy user is used to. In a new leaked video, details of what exactly the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7’s interface will look like seem to be a little clearer. Samsung has made enormous changes to the notification experience while at the same time doing the same with the settings menu.

You will come across a new design that looks very clean and basic – colors are nice, and as usual, customization is possible.

In another related report, Sam Mobile reveals quite a number of leaked hardware specs related to the Galaxy Note 7. Surprisingly, some of the specs are not in unity with some of the reports that have been doing rounds lately. Apparently, the Samsung-centric website claims that the Note 7 will come with a newer Snapdragon 821 SoC with a clock speed of 2.3GHz as opposed to the Snapdragon 820 SoC used in the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

As usual, the phone will have an Exynos 8893 SoC variant, which is an upgrade over the current Exynos 8890 used in some variants of the S7 and S7 Edge. While some reports have been adamant that Samsung’s shift to a 5.5-inch display size for the Galaxy S7 Edge would result in an increased screen size for the Note series, it seems this won’t be the case. Just recently, serial leaker Evan Blass confirmed that the Galaxy Note 7 will retain the usual 5.7-inch screen size. Now, another separate report seems to be confirming the same.

Just as the rumors have pointed out, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will seemingly settle for a 6GB RAM. The phone will further come with three different variants based on the amount of storage. While the base model will stand at 64GB, the high end model will pack a massive ROM of 256GB. To make things even sweeter, the Galaxy Note 7 will still come with room for microSD card storage.

The latest leak agrees with Blass’ earlier revelations that the Note 7 will carry the same camera specs as the S7 and S7 Edge – a 12MP rear camera and 5MP selfie camera. The battery capacity takes after the recently released Galaxy S7 Active, which has a 4000mAh unit with support for fast charging. However, unlike other Sammy smartphones, the Galaxy Note 7 will use a USB Type-C port instead of a microUSB port. Samsung will also include the IP68 certification it introduced on the S7 series.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be here in early August.
