Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 has been on the market for a while now, but the Chinese market has not received the phone.
According to reports, this delay is because the South Korean company is working on a different variant of the Galaxy J7 2017 that will be exclusive to China. Apparently, one of the standout features of this phone will be a dual-lens camera on the back.
This has not been confirmed just yet, which is not different from the latest leak about Samsung Galaxy A5 2018. As per the leaked image, which comes courtesy of Amazon, this midrange phone will not have a dual-lens camera on the back, a feature that has been finding its way to the budget smartphone segment.
The giant retailer shows off a phone that we can tell has a premium design, even if it’s inside a case. The only part of the back panel that is visible is the camera, which confirms a single-lens setup.

Given the near-premium status of the Galaxy A family, one would expect that Samsung will be adding the dual-lens camera feature to the 2018 family, just like it added IP68 dust and water resistance to this year’s models. But it appears this won’t be the case.
Of course, these are not official images from Samsung, which should mean that you take them with a grain of salt. Still on the dual-lens camera modules’ topic, we only have a day in between now and the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the first phone from the company to feature this feature. The phone is expected to be massive both in terms of size and features, but it will stick to the same design pattern you see on the Galaxy S8 and S8+.
In fact, it’s kind of easy to think of the Galaxy Note 8 as a bigger S8 with an S Pen. Don’t you think so? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
