A few years ago, nobody was talking about Nokia. Fast forward to the MWC 2017 and the new talk of the town is not only Nokia, but also the iconic Nokia 3310, a phone that has made it to the top 20 list of the most selling handsets in the world.
The Nokia 3310 was first released in 2000 and years later, HMD Global has resurrected it. While the phone was expected to receive mixed reactions in a market that has been taken over by the smartphone, surprisingly, reports claim that there is unprecedented demand for the handset, months before it is finally released.
If you are in the UK and are one of the many who are looking forward to getting their hands on the Nokia 3310, well, you may still have some waiting to do. The company had confirmed that the phone will be available starting Q2 2017, but there was no specific dates mentioned. While this is still the case, the latest report moves us a step closer to knowing the exact release date of the 3310, alongside other Nokia phones that were also unveiled at the MWC event.
Apparently, Clove will be bringing to you the Nokia 3310 at some point in May. Alongside the iconic phone will be the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5, but the Nokia 6, which was known to be exclusive to Carphone Warehouse, will be available as from June. If this is too late for you, the phone will start selling via Carphone Warehouse as from May, which is a month earlier. These Nokia phones will be unlocked and as such, they’ll be compatible with all carriers in the country.
Even though Clove has confirmed that the Nokia 3310, Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 will be available in May, there’s still no pricing details so far. But we don’t expect huge variations when compared to what Carphone Warehouse will be selling them at.
