The Nokia TA-1087, TA-1082 and TA-1094 model numbers that belong to the Nokia 9 PureView have been certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S.
The FCC listing confirms the Nokia 9 PureView moniker and has revealed some key information on the phone including the support for wireless charging.
The FCC listing of the phone has revealed the key details of the smartphone ahead of launch. Moreover, it reveals that the variant heading to China has a model number of TA-1094. The single-SIM and dual-SIM editions of the Nokia 9 PureView for the rest of the world have respective model numbers of TA-1082 and TA-1087.
The Nokia 9 PureView variants heading to the rest of the world will have Android One branding on the rear while the Chinese edition won’t be having it. The label of the phone hints the presence of Blue color variant.
Another vital information that has been confirmed through the FCC listing is that the Nokia 9 PureView will support wireless charging. The exact size of the battery was not revealed in the FCC documents. What’s known is that the phone will be also enabled with 18W fast charging.
Nokia 9 variants TA-1094, TA-1082 and TA-1087 have already obtained Bluetooth SIG certification and they support Bluetooth v5.0
Earlier today, the Nokia 9 PureView was spotted on the website of Android Enterprise. Also, the Nokia 1 Plus entry-level phone and Nokia 9 smartphone has been also spotted on the list of Play Store supported devices.
This indicates that the apart from launching the Nokia 9 PureView flagship phone at the Feb. 24 event at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019, HMD Global will be also introducing the Nokia 1 Plus smartphone. Rumors have it that the Nokia 8.1 Plus and Nokia 6.2 (2019) with punch-hole display will also debut alongside the aforementioned phones.
