The Nokia 6 was launched at the CES 2017 in early January and a few days later, another mysterious Nokia device leaked with just about all the details regarding the specs.
Back then, it was thought that the device in question was the much rumored Nokia E1, another phone from HMD Global that comes to take care of the entry-level market. According to the leaks, the supposed Nokia E1 had a 5.2-inch display screen with a 720p HD resolution, lower than the Full HD the Nokia 6 comes with and smaller in size as well compared to the latter’s 5.5-inch screen size.
Under the hood, this phone was rumored to be coming with a Snapdragon 425 processor that is clocked at a speed of 1.4GHz and is paired with a RAM of 1.4GHz. With an SD425 processor on board, it meant that the phone had an Adreno 308 GPU while the storage was rumored to be a mere 16GB, but with room for microSD card storage. Like the Nokia 6, the entry-level Nokia E1 was also rumored to be coming with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. In terms of photography, previous leaks suggested that this phone will come with a 13MP snapper on the back and a 5MP selfie camera.
Now, there is a new leak that has just come from GFXBench and apparently, a new Nokia Heart device has been listed and it matches just about everything that had previously been leaked. Apparently, this Nokia Heart comes with a 5.2-inch display screen with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution. Under the hood, the phone has either a Snapdragon 430 or 435 processor that is clocked at 1.4GHz and is paired with an Adreno 505 GPU. The RAM of the phone is 2GB while storage is capped at 16GB.
As for the cameras, the rear of the Nokia Heart has a 13MP shooter while the front will come with an 8MP snapper. Both snappers can capture 4K photos and Full HD videos. Even though the battery capacity is not known, the listing confirms that this Nokia phone will be powered by an HMD Edition of Android 7.0 Nougat.
As you can see from the new specs of the Nokia Heart, there are lots of similarities with the previously leaked Nokia E1. If anything, it is possible that the two could be one and the same. HMD Global will be at the MWC 2017 show – it’s only a matter of a time before we know the real details of the phone (s).
