OnePlus is a company known for its affordable, premium quality phones and if we are to believe the leaked images, it looks like their next flagship OnePlus 6 is about to bring the best of Apple iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S9 in a stylish package.
Each manufacturer has their unique features as Apple focuses more on removing the bezels but keeping a top-notch whereas Samsung is committed to pushing its smartphone camera to whole new level. The phones offer the best OS experience, be it the iOS or Android 8.0 Oreo. The Mobile World Congress 2018 served as a platform for a whole lot of phones to be launched at the same time and obviously, there were multiple clones of the iPhone X proudly sporting an even smaller top notch.
The new leaked images of OnePlus 6 suggest that a strong mid-range competitor for all the models announced at MWC 2018 is in the making. While Asus impressed the crowd with its Zenfone 5Z which is a clear replica of the iPhone X but better in many ways, the $500 phone should directly compete with the OnePlus 6 and the Xiaomi Mi 7 giving buyers more options than they could ever handle.

As the notch is the new norm, the next step that smartphone manufacturers are aiming at is to make it as small as possible. In the leaked photo, the OnePlus 6 houses everything including the front camera, sensors and earpiece all within a fraction of the size while the edge to edge display looks gorgeous.
The phone is expected to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and the new phone may also choose to have a glass back panel for better wireless connectivity. It may also lead to the phone supporting wireless charging and if buyers could all this and more at $600 or less, OnePlus might definitely make a considerable impact in the smartphone market once again.
Meanwhile, speculations claim Apple is getting ready to take on their competitors with three different iPhone X models including a cheaper variant with LCD display. Samsung recently launched their flagship phone, the Galaxy S9 which features an adjustable aperture and slow-mo camera capture. Both these features might find its way to the OnePlus 6 but most leaks so far claim it will have a better camera but technical specifications are known for now.
Until OnePlus releases a phone with QHD display, IP68 (or even IP68), and Qi wireless charging, sorry they aren’t really premium. They are PRETENDERS.
