A tipster from China has claimed that OPPO K3 may debut in the near future with a notch-less screen and a pop-up selfie camera.
The handset will be arriving as a successor for the OPPO K1 that was announced in October 2018. Here is all the information that is known about the smartphone so far.
OPPO K3 Specifications
According to the tipster, the OPPO K3 measures 161.2 x 76 x 9.4mm and weighs 191 grams. The smartphone will be fitted with a 6.3-inch AMOLED display that will offer full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The notch-less screen will be embedded with a fingerprint sensor.
The Snapdragon 710 SoC will be fueling the smartphone and it may release in the Chinese markets in 6 GB and 8 GB RAM choices. Both models are likely to come with 128 GB of native storage. It goes without saying that it will be arriving with Android 9 Pie OS coupled with the latest ColorOS 6.0 UI.
The OPPO K3 handset will include a minimum capacity battery of 3,680 mAh capacity. Its typical size could be 3,700 mAh and it will carry support for 20W VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge technology through USB-C. For photography, it may come with a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie shooter and it come with a 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup on its rear. As of this writing, there is no information on the pricing and availability of the OPPO K3 smartphone. The predecessor model was introduced with 2,499 Yuan price tag. Hence, this device may arrive with a similar price.
The aforementioned specifications of the OPPO K3 matches with the TENAA listings of PCGM00 / PCGT00. The TENAA images of the smartphone reveals that its rear shell will be sporting a design that is similar to the recently released OPPO Reno series of smartphones.
