Oppo CPH1851 was approved by Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliance bodies a few days ago.
The Bluetooth certification had revealed that the smartphone could be hitting the market as Oppo R15 Neo or Oppo AX5. Now, the same CPH1851 has received approval from National Communications Commission (NCC) in Taiwan. The NCC certification has revealed multiple images of the Oppo CPH1851 to reveal its appearance from all angles.
The Oppo R15 Neo moniker suggests that it could be a lower edition of the Oppo R15 smartphone. The NCC images reveal that like the Oppo R15, the Neo features a notched screen. The notch houses a selfie snapper and an earpiece.
The back panel of the smartphone features a horizontal dual camera setup. The company’s branding can be seen on the rear side of the phone. However, it does not feature a fingerprint scanner. The bottom edge of the Oppo CPH1851 features an external speaker grille, a microUSB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The top edge of the phone is barren. Its left edge features a volume rocker whereas a power button is placed on the right edge.
The NCC documents of CPH1851 do not contain any specifications. Through Bluetooth certification, it has been revealed that it carries support for Bluetooth v4.2. Also, WFA listing of the smartphone has confirmed that is enabled with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity. The handset is preinstalled with Android Oreo that is overlaid with Color OS V5.1 skin.
