The Oppo Reno smartphone with model number PCAT00 / PCAM00 has bagged approval from the TENAA agency in China. The same phone with a different model number of CPH1917 has also been certified by NBTC body in Thailand.
The CPH1917 had also been certified on the database of Bluetooth SIG body earlier this month, along with the 5G edition with model number CPH1921. The same CPH1917 model had appeared earlier as Oppo Reno on Singapore’s IMDA in the recent past, which confirmed the moniker.
The Oppo Reno (PCAT00 / PCAM00) measures 156.6 x 74.3 x 9mm and it weighs 185 grams. The smartphone is fitted with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display that offers full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The handset is fueled by 3,680 mAh battery that carries support for rapid charging.
The PCAT00 / PCAM00 Oppo phone is powered by 2.2 GHz octa-core processor. The TENAA listing also confirms the presence of the color variant – Pink Gold.
Through the Bluetooth SIG certification it has been known that the Reno smartphone will have a Snapdragon 710 SoC version. The three variants of the smartphone include 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The smartphone is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS. Most probably, it will be shipping with the latest version of ColorOS. There is no external storage on the device.

For photography, the Oppo Reno Snapdragon 710 features 48-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Leaked case renders of the phone have revealed that it will be featuring a unique triangle-shaped pop-up module that will include an LED flash and a camera sensor. Lastly, the phone is equipped with screen fingerprint recognition.
The TENAA listings of PCAT00 / PCAM00 have no images yet. The Chinese authority may update the listings soon with its images. The Chinese manufacturer will be also launching the Snapdragon 855 variant of the Oppo Reno. It will be releasing in 4G LTE and 5G editions.
