Peugeot 108 Expands with Brand New Trim Levels

Two brand new trim levels had been announced for the Peugeot 108 which further expands the lineup and provides buyers more choices to go far.

The city car is a practical solution in terms of design, performance and fuel efficiency.

Buyers will now be able to choose between two different trimlines including the Top! Roland Garros and the Collection. The names may sound very unique considering the car’s design but the idea is to attract more people and promote them to a wider audience. Instead of using typical trim level names, the summer promotion aims to connect with their potential customers on a more personalized level.

If you are planning to go for it, there are five different color choices to choose from. It is plenty for most people! After all, when you go to buy a car, you are bound to like one among the five choices provided by the automobile manufacturer. The colors include Golden Yellow, Zircon Grey, Laser Red, Diamond White and Tahoe Blue. The interior shades are not the same but are contrasting ones that accentuate the exterior color variant.

Apart from the choice of powertrains, brand new speed decals adorn the exterior of the Peugeot 108. The car is equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels and the carpets, door sills are colored to match the exterior. The steering wheel is wrapped in leather for maximum comfort and grip. The same has been applied on the gear knob as well.

Under the hood, the car is powered by a 1.0-liter petrol engine while a more potent variant houses a 1.2-liter PureTech petrol engine. The engines provide slight variations in terms of power output and overall performance. The powertrains are mated to the five speed manual gear transmission setup. While the base model produces about 67 horsepower, the other variant provides 81 horsepower.

The standard kit in the Peugeot 108 comes with a range of interesting accessories including 7-inch touchscreen panel, reverse camera, electric heated door mirrors and the company’s proprietary Open and Go keyless entry system. When buyers go for the range topping, Top! Roland Garros edition, they get an orange retractable roof that is inspired by the French Grand Slam tennis venue.

The top of the line model has alloy wheel badging, air vents, upholstery and orange colored mirrors. The Peugeot 108 Collection trim will cost about £12,180 while the top of the line variant will be more expensive at £14,060.
