The automobile brand Peugeot has expanded their lineup with a new 208 supermini model.
Named as the Peugeot 208 Allure Premium Edition, the car is already available on stores and the specifications are detailed by the company.
The original five-door model is one among the everyday commuter’s car from which the manufacturer wants to differentiate their new special edition model. In the stand edition, buyers will get the car equipped with a large 16-inch alloy wheels with matte black color. The windows are tinted and buyers will have the option to choose a color from the ten different choices provided by the designers. Out of the large, the highly vibrant Orange Power tint is one of the best and the most appealing color variant that you could go for with the new Allure Premium edition model.
A range of equipment is provided by the manufacturer in the standard model including panoramic glass sunroof, powerfolding mirrors that support heating capability, customizable interior ambient lighting and additional safety features. The car is also equipped with rear facing reverse camera and rear parking sensors for those who find it difficult to park their car in tight corners. The infotainment system is attached to a touchscreen display and will support the latest connectivity features including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Buyers can choose to further upgrade their car with satellite navigation system. Under the hood, the new Peugeot 208 Allure Premium Edition is powered by a 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine. The powertrain is capable of producing about 81 horsepower. The car can accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 12.2 seconds. The company claims that the fuel efficient model can easily provide up to 62.2 miles per gallon.
The Peugeot 208 Allure Premium Edition has been priced at £16,565. Compared to the many other models availabe in stores, this is easily one of the most expensive variants available. The car is slightly less expensive than the GT Line and the GTI models. For those looking for a cheap car, this shouldn’t be on your list because Peugeot is aiming at those who wants extra performance boost from the vehicle they drive along with a range of improvements and components that offer best comfort. Peugeot has also announced special in-store discounts for those who walk in and it should help shave off some from the original pricing for the Allure edition.
