Earlier, the game was delayed and scheduled to be launched during Fiscal Year 2023.

It was a part of the database of GameWindow for a long time. The product’s removal fuelled the rumors about Ubisoft making some amendments to its plans for the launch of the game. Since the rumors were not confirmed or clarified, fans were confused about the direction in which the game was headed.

Addressing the restlessness that fans were experiencing, Ubisoft released an official statement to clarify a few things pertaining to the game. As per the gaming publisher, Prince Of Persia Remake is still being developed by Ubisoft Montreal. Deciding not to stick to its FY23 release plans, Ubisoft has delisted the game for the time being.

Ubisoft has requested individuals, who have pre-ordered the game, to get a refund from their retailers. It has promised fans that it will share an official update about the development of the game in the near future.
