Red Magic 7 with NX679J model number was spotted in the database of China’s TENAA certification platform earlier this month. The listing had only revealed the specifications of the Red Magic 7. Now, it has been updated with the device’s images.
Red Magic 7 Design
Starting from the front, the TENAA images show that the Red Magic 7 has symmetrical top and bottom bezels. As compared to the Red Magic 6S series, the Red Magic 7 offers a slightly different rear design. The camera flash was placed after a small gap below the vertically aligned triple camera unit on the Red Magic 6S / 6S Pro.

The TENAA images of the Red Magic 7 show that the camera flash is placed just below the vertical camera unit. Towards the centre is the ‘Red Magic’ branding followed by a logo towards the bottom. A vent for heat dissipation seems to be placed towards the right side of the camera module.
Red Magic 7 Specifications
The TENAA listing of the Red Magic 7 has revealed that it has a 6.8-inch OLED display that produces a Full HD+ resolution and probably, a high refresh rate of 165Hz. It is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Its rear camera setup is headlined by a 64-megapixel snapper, but there is no word on its front camera.

The Red Magic 7 is likely to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and 8GB / 12GB / 16GB of RAM. The device may offer 128GB / 256GB / 512GB of storage. It may house a battery of around 4,500mAh. The 3C certification of the device has revealed that it may carry support for 165W fast charging. It will come preinstalled with Android 12 OS and Red Magic UI.
